Facilities: 4 bedrooms, 2 queen size beds, 4 single beds, 4 bedrooms with attached toilet cum bathroom, 1 common toilet cum bathroom

a living room set with TV and games table;
dining room; air-conditioned bedrooms furnished with beds , wardrobes, dressers, bedside tables and wall fans;
toilets/bathrooms with shower heater;
BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.

Cost to pay:

2 nights: SGD35
1st night (BBQ NIGHT, 2ND DEC): SGD27.80
2nd night (3RD DEC): 20.10
BBQ only: 15

How to get there: RENTING A PRIVATE 30 / 40-SEATER BUS! (SGD5/person)

However, there's a shuttle bus from Pasir Ris to Aloha, but the private bus sounds more fun-er xD

Confirmed time to meetup: 1.30-1.45pm on 2 Dec 08 at Jurong East Interchange (RIGHT BEHIND POPULAR!)
Eat your breakfast and lunch first before meeting up.

What to bring:
- Your daily essentials
- Clothes (enough to cover for 3 days)
- Your own form of entertainment (PSP, Gameboy, what what what, soccer ball, volleyball, etc)
- Chips, snacks, tidbits (I'LL BRING CUP NOODLE!)
-Mini fan or something (There's a limit to usage of aircon)
-Extra pocket money (in case you want to buy/rent smth)
-HANDPHONE CHARGER!! or bring a spare phone!
... and some other things I can't rmb now, but if you find it appropiate and impt then bring!

NOTE: Aloha Resorts is very ulu kind. It's a bit far away from Downtown East (approx 1 km away)
It's like a 10 minutes walk there so if you wish to eat at the restaurants there (There's this EHUB building newly opened, with many restaurants) then go ahead.

I heard the new building has a ice skating rink or smth?! o_o
AND YES THERE IS A BOWLING ALLEY! But I think it's club members or what.

talked to miss wong, already decided on the place.
our chalet's at ALOHA LOYANG.

the sea view bungalow.
There's a main hall, 4 bedrooms and a kitchen. Each bedroom consists of a toilet, so don't have to fight for bathrooms ah.

THERE'S A FIELD NEAR THE CHALET, SO SOCCER IS ON!!
and WATER BOMB! =D

Hey, don't say I don't care for you guys huh. xD

Calculated approx the price each has to pay, about 25-34 bucks INCLUDING food.

i'm having trouble finding a suitable date for this.

looks like the 2,3,4,5 thing is not gonna make it.

the part when it says NA, that means it's not available.
so means, we can't book that day. =\

so i'm trying to find the dates when ALL PRICES FOR 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS are there.

okay erm.
this blog is collecting dust.
it's been 3 MONTHS SINCE I'VE UPDATED =O

haha, at last! i've got news!
E6 IS HAVING A CLASS CHALET.

yeah you've heard it right, i'm not lying to you or smth.

it's in the discussion, and one of the places that we've chosen is Aloha Resorts,
and i'm still deciding the POOL BUNGALOW at Aloha Loyang.

it's double storey, mind you. loads of fun. =)

SO! I'm actually coming up with a E6 chalet committee to help me organise this event.
the E6 people from 3E4 have already volunteered to help, so what about the others??

Okay uh, I got the word from Tyty that there will be a class dinner on the ~~June 12th~~JUNE 11TH, that will be a ~~Tuesday~~ MONDAY!. Meeting place is at Causeway Point (or you want to meet earlier or what, it's up to you and your little group)
The dinner will take place in Seoul Garden and about the cost it's about.. 20 bucks.
Don't ask me the EXACT price 'cause I don't know, neither Tyty doesn't know, but we guess that it is approximately 18-20 bucks.
Meet at 6 pm outside Seoul Garden. Yeah.

More details or any changes to the meeting place whatsoever will be noted here,
so do check back for updates.

Hello everyone. Hope you guys have a happy 2007. Although we're separated and 2E6 no longer exist in Hua Yi now, we will still keep our 2E6's spirit, yeah?

ok i should have update about this homework thing like... a month ago? but fortunately, many people have requested for an update about the holiday assignments.

3 weeks to school and i bet most of you have not done your homework. example = me. :P

anyhoo, here are the list of the holiday assignments:

1) 2 English newspaper articles
2) 2 MT newspaper articles
3) 2 English book review (Personal Life Stories and Suspense/Detective)
4) Speak Good English Movement Project (Groups of 4)
5) History Source Based Questions
6) Any MT homework you have, other than the newspaper articles.

ook that's it. If i'm missing out anything, do IM or leave message at the tagboard about it.

finally, if you have lost your worksheets (remember : 3 weeks to school!) , good luck finding them =D or ask a classmate to make photocopies of the assignments.

CLASS CHALET INFO

yo people. listen up! the chalet is this friday till sunday.

In order to get to Downtown East:

Take direct mrt to Pasir Ris and take bus 354 or 358.

MEET AT 2 PM OUTSIDE THE ENTRANCE.

there are some people si hui and I have called out to help buying and carrying the things from Giant IMM. these people will take maxicab with me to Downtown East.

the other people not helping, will meet at Downtown East at 2 PM.

the BBQ will start at 6.30 pm. Please bring $25 to pay for the chalet and the food.
For visitors, you don't have to pay.

Do bring at least 70-90 bucks for this gathering. You can go to Wild Wild Wet, Escape and rent bicycles there. On saturday, we will eat meals at the food courts available there.

TO BRING : bring your essentials. just bring what you have to bring when you go on a holiday.

well i know this seems early but never mind . i'm posting the possible class chalet schedule right now, but it is not confirmed yet so don't go HAR HAR HAR on it huhuh.

Friday 1 DECEMBER, 1ST DAY

12 noon -> meet at a place where we can gather
take an MRT ride for an hour or so.

2.30 p.m-> check in. can be scheduled earlier, so we can get our rooms earlier. around 2 is possible.

3.30 p.m-> if we unpacked our stuff, can take around an hour or so. we can prepare for the class BBQ. the time for the BBQ is can be 4-5 p.m.
The purpose of the BBQ is to celebrate our final time with Miss Wong, interact with the other classmates, and also to celebrate the November and December birthdays. (No exceptions for this, I guess)

8-9 p.m -> probably those people not staying overnight has left. stayovers can do anything they want

Saturday 2 DECEMBER, 2ND DAY

morning -> eat breakfast (duh)

afternoon-> do whatever you want (escape theme park, wild wild wet, cycling whatever)

night -> another BBQ if you want, OR you want to have a dinner at a nearby food courts or McDonalds at Downtown East.

SUNDAY 3 December, 3RD DAY

10.30 a.m -> check out. so must wake up earlier than that. eat breakfast after check out or something. then can go home.

DONE! this is what I've planned la. The confirmed schedule will be up once I've returned from Hong Kong.

eh after that, there's still like a week left to the class chalet.

note -> CHECK IN time and CHECK OUT time are confirmed. that's according to the email they gave me. but we can check in A LITTLE earlier la. the CHECK OUT time, we have to check out before 10.30 a.m. yeah. or not, it is considered as ONE DAY and have to pay more~ >.<

For tommorow,you might not need your textbook(as told by Miss Wong today @ 5pm via MSN) for Maths only. For other subjects,it will depend on the teacher if he or she wants lessons on that day. In the morning,There will also be a talk for us tommorow,so please bring your ties in case tommorow.But chances are you are MOST LIKELY to not wear your ties for the talk.I am sorry I am unable to confirm with Miss Wong is busy. Finally,the exams are over!Happy faces are now sighted everywhere.Of course,pls look forward to the chalet we will be having.And if you do not know,please continue to bring your Maths Textbook for lessons coz she will be continuing to teach us with some extra things! Games are not most likely to start as according to teachers,papers will be given out to go through during Wednesday instead
of Thursday or Friday.

you must really study hard to get into your course of your choice because the EYE exams will take up the most in %.

exams are jus around the corner. NEXT WEEK, you will take your language paper and as for the FOLLOWING WEEK, you will take the papers for the other subjects.

so, if you HAVE NOT STARTED on your revision NOW, you better start now. Time is really running short.

oh yeah, i better tell you now. about the chalet thing.
well, good news is that I HAVE RENT THE CHALET ROOMS *everyone claps* and the bad news is that... the price increased to $576 for the 2 rooms ONLY.

hey, don't blame on me. blame the resort because that $89 rate doesn't apply when there are promotions going on. AND YES, i bought the promotion thing. NO CHOICE WHAT.
so, i have calculated and each person will pay 22.80 for the rooms (ONLY APPLY FOR THOSE STAYING OVER AND PLEASE: don't back out just because the price is too high. you have exactly 3 months to save! at least a 50) . the food fr the BBQ is $6 so that you guys have to pay $28.80 for this.
DOES NOT APPLY WITH THE COST OF ESCAPE.
if you want to go ESCAPE, that will be an additional of 14.50 (discount under ME! or anyone who has a UOB/POSB card) so toal you will have to pay *counts* 43.30 .
THIS AMOUNT EXCLUDES THE LUNCH&DINNER.

so at least save 50-60 bucks for the chalet.
trust me, i IS going to be so worth it.

it's better if more people joined in so we can pay lesser. don't freaking pisses me off and decided to back out (and one backs our, the others too) because the stupid price is too high and left me and other people DEALING WITH THE MONEY. OR WORSE, CANCEL IT OFF.
this is one attitude that I do not ever want to see (seesh, i sound like a grandma)

Miss Wong wanted supplementary lessons on tuesday for THOSE WHO THINK THEY NEED IT. so basically, it's not compulsory. you can choose the topic you need help in. She will ask again on MONDAY, but she prefers you to think about it during the weekends.

Okay for the past week, I have recieved umm.. around 14-16 replies about the chalet sleepover. & they are in favor of it! *claps*

Okay, I have decided to book 2 rooms at DOWNTOWNEAST, instead of the bungalow. Reasons?

1) people know where is downtown east, right? I dont think they know where is this pasir ris beach is (i dunno either)
2) transportation is easy: take direct mrt, take bus 354/358 to downtown east
3) really near to escape, so people can go to escape to have fun!
4) well... i think it's much easier to handle, lah.

Anyway, I'm afraid that some people might back out LASTMINUTE so it's much safer to book chalets. Or not, the plan will end having 10 people (or less than that number) in a big bungalow. What's the point?
But if there are 14-16 people going, then, bring sleeping bags. And probably a tent. [x

No exceptions, unless you have a VERYGOOD reason why we should choose the bungalow. IMPRESSME!

Okay since I have announced to the class about the class chalet outing, just to let you know that we have decided to rent a bungalow at Pasir Ris. Date: December 1,2,3 (Fri, Sat, Sun). Maybe Miss Wong will come, not confirmed yet. Please give me your response by next Monday (4 Sept)or latest next Wednesday (6 Sept) to ME (ELEANOR) or SIHUI via MSN or SMS. You just have to tell me whether you can SLEEPOVER or not, given your parents' permission. That's the only thing we are concerned about now.

Homework!

=> Do the stem and leaf worksheet thing. Search for the powerpoint in Miss Wong's 2E MATH folder. I could find it. You can also find it =D

=> There is an Electricity test after the holidays. Seems like we did REALLY BAD for the test =X So study for it!!
